REASONS OF CHOOSING SHOSEIKAN KARATE?

Traditional Karate From Japan with WKF, JKF, & JKF Goju-Kai standard
Picture
You might hear lots of different types of Karate in the world, with colorful uniforms and badges. We can tell you that Karate is originally from Japan. True "Karate" must have linkage to or originate from the starting point of Karate, which is Okinawa.  Shoseikan Canada has that linkage and has the standard of WKF, JKF and JKF Goju-Kai.
Supervised and directed by experienced Instructors
Picture
Shoseikan (Western Canada) is managed and supervised by Shihan Chan, (Blackbelt 5th Dan) who has 25+ years Karate and martial arts experience. Shihan Chan is the direct student of our Chief Master, Kancho Ishihara (Blackbelt 9th Dan).  In addition, our Instructor team is certified by National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) and are members of Karate BC.
Multiple locations and competitive rates
Picture
Shoseikan Karate offers a competitive fixed rate per month. This is a monthly charge and does not affect how many classes or how many times you train per week.  You can attend classes at all associated Dojo's without any extra fees. We offer FREE tryout lesson. Please contact us for more information.

CHILDREN FITNESS TAX CREDIT

Starting with the 2007 tax year, the Government of Canada allows a non-refundable tax credit based on eligible fitness expenses paid by parents to register a child in a prescribed program of physical activity. For more information, please visit Canada Revenue Agency website.
WE ARE NCCP CERTIFIED!

Shoseikan Canada is proud to announce that beginning September 2008, our instructors are NCCP certified.  National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) is the recognized national standard for certification in 65 different sports including Karate.  Our aim is to continually provide our instructors the tools to deliver a Karate program of the highest caliber.
