 2009 PROMOTION TEST #1

It is the first time holding a promotion test at our new built honbu dojo on April 21, 2009. Although the environment was new and fresh, the studentsˇ¦ performance was not affected due to the high level training from regular classes.

The test started shape at 7:00pm and began with our novice members: Tibernium Huang, Ken Ko, Samuel Ko and Lukas Morel. The older members, Karmina Cordero, Terry Zhang, and Robert Chen, were in the second group. [

 INTRODUCING OUR FLAGSHIP TRAINING CENTRE

After months of preparation and hard work, the new Honbo for Shoseikan Canada West Coast was completed at the end of March and the first class took place in the first week of April.

Welcome to Shoseikanˇ¦s newest state of the art karate dojo.  With wall to wall full length mirrors and brand new hard wood flooring, this Honbo is the perfect venue for karate training. [

36TH STEVESTON KARATE TOURNAMENT

Saturday, March 7, 2009 - Swarms of people warming up and practicing in the marshalling area signalled an even larger crowd than last year.  It was a busy area with people coming and going, with laughter and conversations. The mood was upbeat and everyone looked both excited for the competition to come mixed with a hint of nervousness. [continues here]

WE ARE NCCP CERTIFIED!

Shoseikan Canada is proud to announce that beginning September 2008,  all of its instructors are NCCP certified. NCCP is the recognized national standard for certification in 65 different sports including karate.  Our aim is to continually provide our instructors the tools to deliver a karate program of the highest callibre.

CHILDREN FITNESS TAX CREDIT
