 OUR FIRST KARATE KIDS CLASS IN THE SUMMER OF 2010

It was a great success: The first class of our Karate Kids Program in the summer of 2010.

Shoseikan Vancouver dojo has launched a new program, Karate Kids Program, for children ages from 4 to 7, starting in this summer. Our Karate Kids Program is simplified and modified from Traditional Goju-Ryu Karate. With the Karate elements and movement, we targeted to develop the basic value of discipline, respect for others, confidence in themselves, physical and their abilities. [

2010 PROMOTION TEST #2

On June 11th, the second promotion test of 2010 for Mudansha (non black belt members) was held at Vancouver Dojo.

The grading panel was headed by our Chief Instructor, Sensei Chan, as Chairman of the Grading Committee, along with Senior Instructor, Sensei Lau. [

THE KUNG FU & MARTIAL ARTS VARIETY SHOW 2010

The Kung Fu and Martial Arts Variety Show & Dinner 2010 was hosted on March 20, 2010 in Richmond,BC, by the World Organization of Wushu and Kung Fu Masters. Our Shibucho was invited to the dinner by Master Parry Fung, who is featuring in Tibetan Lama and Ng¡¦s Tai Chi.

The dinner started at 6:00pm with dragon dance and numbers of demonstrations. It is amazed that different style of Kung Fu Masters got together and demonstrate their skills   for us. This dinner show is a fund raising event for
BC Cancer Foundation, leaded by Mr. Chan Shou Chong, the Chairperson of the World Organization of Wushu and Kung Fu Masters. [Continues here]

WE ARE NCCP CERTIFIED!

Shoseikan Canada is proud to announce that beginning September 2008,  all of its instructors are NCCP certified. National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) is the recognized national standard for certification in 65 different sports including Karate.  Our aim is to continually provide our instructors the tools to deliver a Karate program of the highest callibre.

CHILDREN FITNESS TAX CREDIT
