Shoseikan Canada Karate (Vancouver and Richmond)


	After months of preparation and hard work, the new Honbo for Shoseikan Canada West Coast was completed at the end of March and the first class took place in the first week of April. Welcome to the newest state of Shoseikan the art karate dojo. With wall to wall full length mirrors and brand new hard wood flooring, this Honbo is the perfect venue for karate training. Making use of open skylights for lots of natural lighting, the new karate training centre also features a separate changing area and washroom with shower facilities. There is also a place for parents and friends to sit and watch the lesson! For tournament practice or for our youngster classes, the new dojo offers World Karate Federation approved safety mats. Safety at Shoseikan is always our top priority. For hardcore students, there is a custom made karate training fence with all sorts of resistance training equipment. Students are free to practice with added flexible hours outside of regularly scheduled training times. Practice your basics or train on your kata in front of the new 25 foot mirror and get it just right! Want to do some kumite training? Go ahead using our sandbags and kicking pads. The options are endless. The new location is conveniently located just a few minutes north of the Richmond Auto Mall. WE ARE NCCP CERTIFIED!

Shoseikan Canada is proud to announce that beginning September 2008, all of its instructors are NCCP certified. NCCP is the recognized national standard for certification in 65 different sports including karate. Our aim is to continually provide our instructors the tools to deliver a karate program of the highest callibre.

CHILDREN FITNESS TAX CREDIT
